People approach their own identity in different ways. Every person’s approach is unique, and molded by their own life events. In this case, Cosplay is the sub-culture through which people have chosen to develop their identity. They do this regardless of what others may think, and do it out of pure intuition. We step in as silent observers, recording our observations with wet plates and that create portraits that look like recorded moments of the past and bring their characters to reality.
